How many pictures do I need to send you?
At minimum 3, but the more the better.
If I don’t have a good photo, can you help take the picture?
Yes, if your are in the metro Denver area. I am happy to help.
How long does it take to get a painting of my pet?
4 to 6 weeks. It often depends on how many are on order and how fast the approvals are.
Can you do more than one pet on a canvas?
Yes. And it will impact the size of the canvas I use.
If I have more than one pet to be painted, do I have to have them all in the same photo?
No. It is more important to have a really good picture of each animal, and I can place them together on the canvas. If you do have a favorite photo that has all the pets together, send that too.
What if I only have paper photos, not electronic or digital?
Just mail me the photos. I will scan them and return them to you with the final painting.
What payment methods do you take?
Personal checks, PayPal and Cash
How do you decide what color to use for the background?
First, I ask you if you have a preference, and I will use that. If no preference, I use my judgment based on the colors of your pet.
What will I see before the painting is completed?
- First, I will send you the photo I plan to use. You approve it.
- Second, I send you a pencil sketch on the actual canvas. You approve it.
- Third, I let you know when I’m 90% complete, and we set up a time/place for delivery or shipping.
- Fourth, you hang it on your wall!
Do you do portraits outside of Denver?
Yes, I have clients from Alaska to Massachusetts. The only difference is the shipping phase.
